Vasil Georgiev Velev (born April 1, 1959) is the Executive Director of Stara Planina Hold Plc and Chairman of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (AICB). In 2008 he graduated from the University of Economics in Varna, specializing in “Corporate Development and Management”.

He was elected member of the Board of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, member of the National Commission on Corporate Governance, member of the Board of Trustees of Varna University of Economics, member of the Steering Committee of the Silver Fund, member of the National Strategic Reference Framework The Partnership Agreement), member of the National Economic Council, vice-president of the Economic and Social Council, deputy chairman of the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation, etc. Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Evrika Foundation.

Currently, he is the rotating Chairman of the International Coordination Council of Employers’ Organizations (ICSOR).
